The academic year begins today, and we are on track for a momentous year. On behalf of Senior Vice President and Provost Jennifer King Rice and myself, welcome!

Change is happening all around us at a rapid pace, and you are fortunate to be surrounded by faculty, staff and students who are ready to adapt, respond and meet the moment.

As we hit the ground running, please enjoy this 30-second snapshot of UMD—a video that will air on game days once Terps Football kicks off this weekend.
