A major strategic commitment in our strategic plan is that we invest in people and communities. Just as you invest your time, energy and passion into your work, we must invest in you, the staff of UMD. Over the next few weeks there will be opportunities for you to share your experiences to inform the forward progress of this important commitment. We value and seek your input.
Please respond to this short survey to share perspectives on your work life and ideas for improvement. Your participation is completely voluntary and your responses will be anonymous. The survey is available until 5pm on Friday, July 1, 2022.
Additionally, I invite you to attend one of our virtual Campus Conversations hosted by the Center for Leadership & Organizational Change (CLOC). Gather with colleagues to describe what investment in staff looks and feels like and share your thoughts on what would make your work life better. Register for one of the virtual conversations at the links below. Each session will cover the same information.

Data from the survey and Campus Conversations will be reviewed in July and August and used to inform our work. A summary report will be shared with my Cabinet and campus leadership in September, and then more broadly with the campus community.
