Given the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases nationwide and here in Maryland, I am today announcing that courses will transition entirely to online instruction, with very few exceptions, following the Thanksgiving break.

After what appears to be historic voter turnout nearing 150 million votes cast, including record levels of participation by young voters, we must all exhibit patience as it is determined who will serve as our next President.

We write to share the latest update that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the university budget. While we are pleased to announce this cessation of temporary salary reductions, it is important to note that short-term budget challenges remain.

Be assured that our commitment to safety is unwavering and we work closely with community partners to promote safety in our community.

College campuses are marketplaces of open discourse, an environment where we are confronted with experiences, biases and perspectives different from our own. How we listen to, learn from and question opposing viewpoints is perhaps the most important skill educators can impart.
