President's Commission on Disability Issues
The PCDI is a University of Maryland Commission under the President's Office working to educate, advocate, and inform the campus community on issues related to disability rights.
Every October, the PCDI hosts cross-campus events organized by the UMD community to celebrate Disability Awareness Month!
Disability Day of Mourning is an international event taking place every March. Each year, PCDI hosts a vigil honoring those lost to filicide.
The Disability Summit is a forum for professionals, educators, academics, service providers, allies, and advocates to dialogue and collaborate across types of Disability and institutions.
PCDI is proud to promote other campus events that offer opportunities for the UMD community to engage, learn, and experience programming focused on supporting Disability.
