The President's Commission on Disability Issues ensures that all events are accessible. Please contact the event organizers or pcdi@umd.edu at least one week prior to the event to request disability accommodations. In all situations, a good faith effort (up until the time of the event) will be made to provide accommodations.

Every year the President's Commission on Disability Issues organizes the October Disability Awareness Month.
Including Disability Global Summit
The Including Disability Global Summit was created as a forum for dialog and collaboration about large-scale societal barriers that challenge disabled people.
Each year PCDI hosts the vigil to remember, mourn and celebrate people with disabilities killed by family members or caregivers.
The President's Commission on Disability Issues (PCDI) works collaboratively with other systems and units on campus and beyond that support community members with disabilities.
